G. David DeLozier, a lawyer since the early 1970s, a founder and shareholder in the law firm of G. David DeLozier, P.C., aka DeLozier Law, firm motto: “Live the Golden Rule”. In recent years, his practice has emphasized: estate planning (wills, trusts, etc.), plaintiffs’ personal injury [motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice and several sexual molestations], family law, general civil/commercial litigation, criminal defense [DUI to capital murder], bankruptcy, and business organizations. Additionally, beyond the lawyer role, he has been extensive business experience at the operational and ownership levels. His practice has included a wide variety of litigation, business organizational planning, corporate, partnership and estate and individual tax planning, real estate acquisition and development of residential and commercial projects. He has also been involved in several nonprofit organizations as board member, founder and member.
G. David DeLozier has been a member of the Arizona business community since 1977, when he joined the law firm of Shimmel, Hill, Bishop & Gruender, P.C., and became the head of its department of taxation. There he handled all aspects of tax related legal issues for clients, including: estate planning, tax litigation, pensions, profit sharing, deferred compensation, employee stock ownership plans, welfare plans, syndications, tax shelters and tax planning.
In 1980 he opened his own law firm, DeLozier & Bregman, P.C. The firm specialized in personal and corporate tax litigation, estate and other tax planning, securities litigation, real estate and employee benefit planning. A major client of the firm was a Scottsdale area real estate development firm. Legal and business work for that firm included: securities and tax litigation and planning, real estate acquisition, sales and residential and commercial real estate development. In 1981, his private practice continued under G. David DeLozier, P.C.
During 1982, a major client in Southern California commissioned him to do extensive work in analyzing, designing and structuring securities investments for its clients. This work included all of the various phases of legal and business planning recited above. These projects extended for over one (1) year. The range of investment planning projects included: opal mining, gem and precious stone ownership and marketing, precious metal mining and ownership, real estate syndications (low income housing to shopping centers to high rise), cattle raising, fruit and nut tree syndication, to name a few. These activities included negotiating agreement for businesses with the leaders of the governments in Liberia and Sierra Leone, West Africa.
In 1984, through various acquisitions, he became the President, Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel to a publicly held and traded (over-the-counter) company. It had shareholders in more than 40 states (several U.S. Trust Territories and foreign countries). It had subsidiaries in oil & gas production, dredge manufacturing and mining. His responsibilities included compliance with all local, state and federal laws. These ranged from mining claims to securities filings. The Company served as the General Partner for several limited partnerships. The majority his time on these activities ceased in the late 1980s. During this period of time, there were several trips to West Africa [Liberia & Sierra Leone] where he negotiated and obtained a large concession for his clients through his work with Liberian government officials.
Since the late 1980s, he has been in the private practice of law, with both individual and business clients in the firm of G. David DeLozier, P.C., as its sole owner. See above. Earlier, from 1971-73, he served as Counsel to the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, State of Tennessee; and from 1975-77, at the American Law Institute. From 1975-77, he was a lawyer at the American Law Institute in Philadelphia, traveling the United States involved in tax and securities seminars for lawyers. Prior to law school, he taught high school and worked 3 years in a manpower training program as the “principal” of related education. That organization was a model for President Johnson’s “war” on poverty programs of the 1960s, teaching and training out of work young adults to become gainfully employed through basic educational experiences and skills training and job placement.

Amy C. DeLozier
Amy C. DeLozier was raised in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania and spent the majority of her summers at the family home at the Jersey Shore. Amy met David while each were employed at the American Law Institute in Philadelphia. After only six weeks of dating, he had an attorney position offered him in Phoenix and here we are 40+ years later.
We have made a wonderful life in the Valley of the Sun, raising two “horsey” daughters and delighted to have two wonderful grandchildren. We are active, eat healthy, and work out often. Amy is responsible for the PI (Personal Injuries and vehicular collision injuries) and most are settled in pre-litigation, without filing in court. She has exclusively handled injury cases for twenty years.
Our primary directive is to treat each of our clients as we would wish to be treated. We answer our calls and emails promptly. We treat our clients as individuals and give each of them our undivided and complete attention. We also live up to the standard of having the highest possible integrity.
The majority of our legal services business has come from former client referrals and fair practices over the 40+ years we have been practicing law, which we value very much. Our firm motto: “Live the Golden Rule” is always in force at DeLozier Law, and is probably best demonstrated in our personal injury cases: unlike most personal injury law firms, our firm never gets more of the settlement proceeds than the client or injured person receives.
